A media house which had the power to make or change things, opinion or even the country; which carried the responsibilities of revealing the facts and truths of the society made a widespread blunder which could and already have twisted into a tragedy. The Kanchan-Mohan Regmi family dispute was made an issue for the whole general public to observe. Like as if we haven’t heard of family disputes which have had crueler endings. Question: where were they then? We might someday have our own relationship issue being watched by millions of people all over the world and even being commented upon the right and the wrongdoings. Had he done the research before the interview, which generally every interviewer does, the conversation could have turned into an investigation that could reveal the reality. The 23 minutes of interview raised more questions than answers to a general public. The interview was basically a story told by Kanchan titled “how miserable her life was made by her husband Mohan and her two sons Dipendra and Sagar Regmi” without objections. The grieve she carried in her heart was heart-breaking according to her, her tears and shaking voice was the only proof she provided, and Suman Ji dared to doubt it. She even called her sons ‘Nalayak’. The interview managed to grasp the attention of the viewers and is currently the YouTube darling. The emotional aspects made millions of people upset and enraged. Kanchan Sharma Regmi gained the support of millions. Contradictorily, her husband and two sons were portrayed as culprits and inhuman. People poured their rage in social sites and even managed to find her two sons and husband’s social address. They were publicly thrashed, bullied with explicit languages; countless messages were sent to them making them ashamed of what they did. The whole nation was actively terrorizing them. The acts made the eldest son even to deactivate his Facebook account.
